Why go here
Discover the valley through its people and crafts. Explore textiles in Margilan, ceramics in Rishtan and urban history in Kokand. Travel between towns leaves room for workshops and conversations.
The Fergana Valley is not about one signature photograph. Its story emerges through conversations with makers, the colours of Rishtan ceramics and textile work in Margilan. Kokand adds urban history and architecture. Rather than speed through three towns, we make room for a workshop where you can watch the process and ask the person doing the work.
