Begin in Muscat by the waterfront and continue to Nizwa. A mountain day or nature stop can fit if the season allows. Oman rewards unhurried travel and attention to local customs.

Oman is best experienced through contrast: Muscat’s light-coloured neighbourhoods, Nizwa’s history and mountain roads. Transfers are scenic but require time and suitable transport. Modest clothing is useful in markets and religious places. The plan leaves room for unhurried walks and conversation.
